Yesterday was Earth Day and here at The Learning Tree, Earth Day is one of our FAVORITE celebrations!
Our planet is am amazing place, but it needs our help to thrive! We use Earth Day to reflect on our planet, environment and what we can do to help keep our planet healthy.

Earth Day is a great time to talk about recycling and reusing materials. This year we had three different projects that our centers got to make yesterday for earth day!
- Recycled Robots – classrooms were able to use any recycled materials to build a FUN classroom robot!

Classroom Terrarium – classrooms created their own self feeding plant made out of recycled pop bottles!

Plant a Plant – classrooms receive a plant and their classroom brainstorms what to plant their plant in, but it has to be planted in something that was recycled!
