LT Partnership With Registered Dietitan!

Did you know that a few months back we took our menu one step further and partnered with Sarah Remmer, Registered Dietitian?!

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with The Learning Tree and Sarah Remmer, Registered Dietitian.

One of our Core Values is Serving a Fresh, Organic Menu.  Year after year we receive feedback that our menu is one of the main reasons why parents, and employees, choose The Learning Tree.  We believe in continuous improvements and we are ready to partner with Sarah to take our menu, nutrition standards and communication about nutrition to the next level.  By doing this, Sarah will help tweak our menu items, recipes and introduce new snacks and meals.   She will guide us through allergens we encounter to guarantee children with allergies still have the same balanced food served.  She will also advise us on what to do when our vendors cannot fulfill our orders.

Here is more about Sarah:
As an international leading child and family nutrition expert, I specialize in helping parents and caregivers feed their children with confidence, by creating relatable, engaging and credible content for parents and organizations that I believe in. I’m a Registered Dietitian, with 15 years of experience counselling families on pediatric nutrition and health. I’ve written a book (published April 2021 with appetite Random House) entitled Food to Grow On: The Ultimate Guide to Nutrition, From Pregnancy to Packed Lunches.

In addition to the menu updates that will take place, Sarah will be providing us with information, tips and advice.  We will be sharing this through emails, our blog and our social media pages.  Sarah will be hosting online quarterly workshops for parents- we are really excited about this!

This kind of partnership has always been a goal for us at The Learning Tree and we cannot wait to watch this Core Value continue to grow!  Sarah‘s values align with ours and she fits right in with our team.
Here is the first, or many, tips from Sarah as we go into the weekend:
