Hello! I am Samantha Greenwell, the Center Director at The Learning Tree North! I have worked for The Learning Tree for just about 5 years now. Honestly, I love my job and absolutely love The Learning Tree! 
Let me start from the beginning. My journey that lead up to The Learning Tree is a little fun? I am not originally from Michigan. I grew up in Southern Indiana. My husband and I were married in 2003 but left everything behind and moved here in 2004. 
I have been in early childhood education since I graduated from college. I taught preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten for almost eight years. I then accepted the position as the Center Director for another school. While there, I was involved with a national childcare marketing group. So was The Learning Tree! At one of the conferences I attended, I shared my passions about families and teachers with the group and then learned that The Learning Tree had those same passions and that they were located right here in Michigan! The Learning Tree noticed my passion as well and reached out to me shortly after the conference.
And before you knew it, I was the new Director at The Learning Tree South location! I stayed there for about two and a half years and helped build a fantastic team. I conducted training’s, I mentored teachers, and was even able to coach some phenomenal future administrators! In 2017, it was time for me to take on a new challenge. I transferred to the North location and found that this school was meant for me!
It took me a while to find The Learning Tree…and actually they found me! My kids LOVE The Learning Tree! I LOVE The Learning Tree! I have such a great support team and I just can’t imagine being anywhere else!
